Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to diagnose, service and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment across varied commercial, industrial and medical facilities in the Tampa area. You will work on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, package units, and more, with a structured 30–60–90 day development plan and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing HVAC/refrigeration equipment in commercial/industrial settings.
• EPA Refrigeration Certification required.
• College/Technician Degree in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, package units and split systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and evaluate mechanical and controls systems for performance improvements.
• Work directly with clients to provide technically effective solutions while considering financial impact.
• Receive a structured development plan with shadowing, workshops, and mentor support.

The Role

• Diagnose, service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, package units and split systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and evaluate mechanical and controls systems to identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Work directly with clients to provide creative and technically effective solutions, with consideration for the financial impact of recommendations.
• Receive a structured 30-60-90 day development plan, including shadowing, workshops, education and support from senior team members.

The Candidate

• Proven hands-on HVAC/Refrigeration experience, ideally within commercial, industrial or similar environments.
• Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification and a College/Technician Degree in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair commercial HVAC equipment, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
