Job summary

ADVATIX - Advanced Supply Chain and Logistics is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for on-site service in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC and hydronic heating systems, servicing VRF/VRV units, and coordinating with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS).

You will travel to client sites across Brooklyn, hold EPA and FDNY certifications, and uphold safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.
• FDNY certification required.
• 5+ years of professional HVAC experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with hydronic heating systems.
• Experience with VRF/VRV systems.
• Experience with BMS/BAS systems.
• Valid, clean driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and hydronic heating system issues.
• Perform system repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacements.
• Evaluate equipment and system conditions and recommend solutions.
• Obtain customer approvals before proceeding with repairs or replacements.
• Troubleshoot and service VRF and VRV HVAC systems.
• Work with BMS and BAS systems.
• Respond to service calls and diagnose HVAC issues at client sites.
• Travel to client sites throughout Brooklyn for service work.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused interactions.
• Complete work safely and in compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and hydronic heating system issues.
• Perform system repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacements.
• Evaluate equipment and system conditions and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Obtain necessary customer approvals before proceeding with repairs or equipment replacements.
• Troubleshoot and service VRF and VRV HVAC systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional HVAC experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with hydronic heating systems.
• Proven experience with VRF and VRV systems.
• Experience working with BMS/BAS systems.
• EPA certification required.
• FDNY certification required.
• Valid, clean driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client locations throughout Brooklyn.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Professional, respectful, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 – $200,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications.
