Job summary

Covenant Woods in Hanover County, VA is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to perform maintenance and repair of facility HVAC systems throughout the campus.

You’ll work in a retirement community, interact with residents and staff, and join a team that values reliability, safety, and quality service. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with HVAC training/certification.
• Two years’ experience in general HVAC repair or maintenance.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and ability to operate test equipment and tools.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility HVAC systems throughout Covenant Woods.
• Follow safety standards and quality control while servicing equipment.
• Coordinate with residents and staff to minimize disruption to operations.

Job Details: Job Location: Mechanicsville, VA 23111, Salary Range: $24.00 - $32.00 Hourly, Job Category: Facilities, Covenant Woods in Hanover County is looking for a Full-Time HVAC Technician to perform maintenance and repair services of facility systems. Responsible for carrying out all planned and unplanned HVAC maintenance throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

• Must be high school graduate or equivalent with Technical HVAC and/or Apprenticeship training/ Certification.
• Must communicate effectively with residence and other staff.
• Valid Virginia drivers’ license required.
• Must be able to use test equipment, powered and hand mechanical tools, HVAC and electrical tools as needed.
• General maintenance repair skills a plus.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Basic computer skills.
• Two years’ experience in general HVAC repair or general maintenance with HVAC certification/training required.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday's - Friday's 8:00AM - 4:30PM
