Journeyman HVAC Technician

Livingston Parish Public Schools Maintenance Department is hiring a Journeyman HVAC Technician for the central office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide HVAC repair and maintenance for chillers, commercial units, window units, gas heating systems, and other HVAC equipment. Attend callouts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years HVAC experience.
• Current EPA certification.
• Repair knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, commercial units, window units, and gas heating preferred.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work callouts, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred experience in commercial and educational facilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary of $34,316.00 annually plus standard benefits.
