Job summary

CORG Management Group seeks an HVAC Technician in Greenville, South Carolina. You will maintain and repair HVAC systems, ensuring excellent service and adherence to operating standards. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED and 0-2 years of experience in HVAC operations. Responsibilities include equipment inspection and maintenance, completing work orders, and responding to fire alarms. A valid South Carolina driver’s license is required. Physical ability to lift 80 lbs and work from ladders is also required.

Qualifications

• Understand different types of air distribution systems such as VAV, double duct, etc.
• Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all HVAC equipment and components to manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Make rounds of all equipment rooms to identify and repair any potential problems.
• Complete and close out work orders in the CMMS and enter time worked and materials used.

Job description

Title: HVAC Technician

Operate, maintain and repair all equipment used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning of building equipment. This includes operations of a central heating system utilizing steam and/or hot water for tempering or heating building, and central chilled water to provide cooling to building. You will be required to provide excellent customer service to create a comfortable environment.

Experience Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have 0-2 years direct experience in HVAC and boiler operation and maintenance.
• Must have basic knowledge of computer operation for use on our energy management systems.
• Understand the different type of air distribution systems such as VAV, double duct, etc.

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair all HVAC equipment and components to manufacturer’s recommendation, i.e., valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters, and lubrication, etc.
• Learn basics of equipment management controls to be able to start, stop, seek status or change conditions on HVAC systems.
• Make rounds of all equipment rooms to identify and repair any potential problems and keep the systems and rooms clean.
• Complete and close out work orders in the CMMS and enter time worked and materials used.
• Respond to fire alarm systems and be familiar with fire panels.
• Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work from a ladder.
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Must pass criminal background check.
