Job summary

Spherion Gainesville is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their driven and customer-focused team. This direct hire, full-time role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse HVAC systems, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call rotation to cover weekends.

Salary ranges from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include bonuses, PTO and 401K; additional benefits become available after the qualifying period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certified.
• 5 to 7 verifiable years of HVAC experience with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and gas line systems.
• Experience with residential and light industrial systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (AC, heating, ventilation).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues.
• Propose solutions for equipment problems.
• Conduct regular system inspections.
• Manage parts inventory and ordering.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
