Job Details

We are seeking a committed and experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full‑time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers and boilers, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues. The role requires a deep understanding of preventive maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and air conditioning systems. Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and equipment installation is crucial. The candidate must possess excellent diagnostic skills and a strong technical understanding of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC malfunctions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Performing mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.
  • Keeping record of all work and reporting completed services to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
  • Assisting with customers' queries, explaining costs and providing advice on maintenance and repair.
  • Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customers' location.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC systems, including experience with chillers and boilers.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of air conditioning systems.
  • Familiarity with building codes and safety protocols in the construction industry.
  • Experience with equipment installation and a strong ability to diagnose issues with HVAC systems.
  • Excellent technical understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to work in a physical capacity, including lifting heavy items and working in varying temperatures.
  • HVAC certification or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
