Job summary

Everidge in Virginia seeks an installation technician to assemble refrigeration equipment, install as per work orders, pump down charges, and verify equipment funcionamiento per standards.

Requires High School Diploma or GED and HVAC Certification Level I & II; must lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely around heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical systems, troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools.
• HVAC Certification (Level I and II) required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigeration equipment and install as per building work orders.
• Pumps down holding charges and charges units to supplier standards and environmental codes.
• Perform system checkout to ensure proper operation and leak checks at brazed joints.
• Maintain daily safety and operational inspections and complete 5S documentation.
• Segregate and return reusable components to warehouse for tracking.

HIRING BONUS $1,000!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:Assemble refrigeration equipment by using appropriate tools resident in the manufacturing plantEnsures all parts are assembled in direct compliance with Everidge’s quality standardsCorrectly install refrigeration equipment as listed on the building work orderCorrectly pumps down all holding charges associated with the installed equipmentCorrectly charges the refrigeration units to supplier standards and within environmental code requirementsPerforms system checkout to ensure refrigeration equipment is operating correctlyAssists roofing personnel as needed to ensure zero line disruptions during constructionConduct daily safety and operational inspections on installation and test equipment being used, recording all information on the appropriate form in accordance with 5SCompletes system check to verify zero leaks at all brazed jointsUses metal tape measure to verify all parts, both length and width and ensuring proper location on building roofCorrectly identifies all parts required to complete installation – using only those identified for the specific building being assembledSegregates useable refrigeration systems, and installation pieces, properly returning them to warehouse personnel for tracking purposesCross trains within other departmentsAdheres to all policies, rules, regulationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GEDProficient in HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical systems, troubleshooting and using diagnostic toolsHVAC Certification (Level I and II)PHYSICAL EFFORT:Display the ability to install all refrigeration equipment, complying with environmental standardsDisplay the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periodsAbility to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
