Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our engineering team in Columbus, OH. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and refrigeration, and work with controls and industrial systems.

In this role you will perform regular inspections, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, and keep precise records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC Technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and refrigeration.
• Proven installation, repair, service, and controls experience.
• Experience with industrial HVAC systems is required.
• HVAC certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration units.
• Conduct regular HVAC system inspections to identify any potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including controls and related equipment.
• Ensure all HVAC systems meet company standards and are in compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to service calls in a timely manner and resolving issues efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to develop and implement strategies for improving HVAC system performance.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• HVAC certification or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
