Bellevue School District is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, repair and maintain HVAC components and systems to support district facilities. You will service boilers, calibrate controls, address indoor air quality issues, and work with building automation systems.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a HVAC apprenticeship and at least 5 years of HVAC experience, plus relevant licenses such as CFC certification. Expect safe work in diverse spaces across campuses.
The position of HVAC tech is done for the purpose/s of providing installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC components and systems to support the mission of the District.

Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, dust, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises.
Maintenance and Grounds salary classification B-5 ($ 52.73 per hour), 40 hours per week, for a 260-day annual assignment. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year. Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems. Other benefits include vacation and paid holidays.
