Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an HVAC Technician in Beaufort County, SC. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure safe, reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and address a variety of system components. A valid driver’s license and EPA CFC Universal Certificate are required, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related HVAC experience.
• EPA CFC Universal Certificate required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems (chilled water, VAV, VRF, single/multi-split).
• May require experience with BMS in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Respond to hot and cold calls, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Check and replace valves, motors, controls, wiring, pumps, and related components.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: WEEKDAYS ONLY - Specific Shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay Range: $22 - $32

What You’ll Do:

As a HVAC Technician at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge and technical skills to identify repair and replacement needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
