Alpine is seeking an HVAC Technical Support representative to improve job satisfaction by assisting customers remotely over the phone.

Responsibilities
  • Speak with homeowners on the phone who have purchased products from our HVAC ecommerce website and assist them with product questions and troubleshooting remotely to resolve technical issues.
  • Engage customers in productive conversations to support product understanding and issue resolution.
  • Provide a rewarding service experience by applying clear communication skills and technical knowledge to help customers succeed.
Qualifications
  • 5 years experience as an HVAC Technician
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills with typing at 40 WPM+
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work and multiple duties simultaneously
  • Professional, positive demeanor; extroverted, warm, and friendly with customers
  • Self-starter who is eager and ambitious to succeed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work with ambiguity and solve problems while aligning with company values
  • Able to work as part of a team when necessary
  • High-speed internet and a stable power supply
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space free from animals or family members in the same room
  • Willingness to be at the desk, available and ready for phone calls during scheduled hours (not a flexible-time remote position)
  • Open to periodic travel for hands-on training and product refurbishment
  • Rotating schedule with periodic weekend availability
