McGinley and Sons Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Installer and Service Technician to join our team in providing high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, utilizing knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Collaborate with clients and team members to identify and address HVAC needs, providing recommendations and estimates as required.
Adhere to manufacturer specifications and local building codes, ensuring all work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities, including work orders, equipment information, and job-related documentation.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed, providing prompt and efficient service to minimize system downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills within the HVAC field.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
EPA 608 certification and relevant HVAC certifications or licenses.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems related to HVAC.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations pertaining to HVAC installations and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
