Yoders Heating & Cooling LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our small, locally owned team in Wisconsin. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC equipment, working independently with pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Serving Waukesha County, we value reliability and honest repairs. We offer $35-$55 per hour, seasonal overtime opportunities, and an independent work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous residential HVAC service experience required.
• Must diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently.
• Strong knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, mini-splits, and split systems.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• HVAC technical school certificate or diploma.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to identify problems and complete repairs without direct supervision.
• Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable work history.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, mini-splits, and traditional split systems.
• Flexible schedule
• Identify equipment failures and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Safely handle refrigerants and perform proper recovery procedures.
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommendations using mobile service software.
• Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers.
• Manage daily service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.

We are a small, locally owned heating and cooling company specializing in residential HVAC services. We're seeking a knowledgeable technician who is confident working independently, can accurately diagnose and repair equipment, and takes pride in providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on service experience, and the ability to manage service calls from start to finish without constant supervision.
