Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field experience servicing residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Able to use industry hand and machine tools (e.g., vacuum pumps, refrigeration gauges).
• Ability to read, interpret and work from schematics and written instructions.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting (single phase and three phase motors, compressors, relays).

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and written instructions.
• Test joints and connections for gas leaks and ensure proper operation.
• Replace defective controls, fuses and electrical wiring.
• Respond to EMERGENCY calls after work hours.
