We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of HVAC TAB Project Manager. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing various projects within a technical operational environment.

Why this Role is Important:
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining relationships with third-party vendors, and meeting client needs while delivering results.

Responsibilities:

1. Independently manages multiple Test and Balance projects of varying size and complexity.
2. Oversees TAB field crews to ensure adherence to procedures and accuracy in testing.
3. Requests and reviews mechanical drawings, HVAC submittals, and specifications to assist the TAB team.
4. Establishes and maintains relationships with third parties/vendors.
5. Participates in contractor meetings for project planning and scheduling.
6. Manages changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
7. Reviews Test Air Balancing Reports with engineering team and contractors to address site issues or deficiencies.
8. Communicates directly with customers, account management, and the executive team to provide updates and recommendations.
9. Manages projects related to approved solutions.
10. Handles customer escalations and ensures timely resolution.
11. Provides remote support to vendors/contractors during test and balance.
12. Reviews surveys for accuracy and quality, ensuring alignment with standards.
13. Holds contractors accountable for communication, coordination, or installation issues, including punch list completion.
14. Performs job close-out, ensuring documentation is filed and surveys uploaded and approved.
15. Manages the financial aspects of projects within budget.
16. Reviews contractor invoices for accuracy and supporting documentation.
17. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Desired Characteristics:

• Broad understanding of project management and operational policies, procedures, and practices.
• Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Creative problem solver with multitasking and customer service skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC installations.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including air balancing, duct design, VAV systems, hydronic, and controls.
• Certification through NEBB, AABC, or TABB.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
• Project Management Certification and/or PMI Certification (preferred but not required).
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects.
• Experience in the energy space is helpful but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexible hours required due to varying schedules, including some weekends and late nights.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $80,000—$110,000 USD

Compensation depends on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
