Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department is seeking a Mechanical Systems Technician II to perform layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in facilities. The role requires a current Mechanical Journeyman license and involves servicing commercial HVAC equipment, conducting inspections, and documenting work orders to support timely maintenance and system reliability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, ordering parts, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operation of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and scheduling for HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with standard safety precautions in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Services, maintains and repairs HVAC systems in commercial facilities.
• Inspects HVAC components to evaluate condition and identify repairs.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance for lifecycle operation.
• Prepares written materials documenting activities and status.
• Orders and maintains equipment and supplies for installations and repairs.
• Inform supervisor on status of work orders for scheduling and purchasing decisions.
