Software Placement Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an HVAC Systems Engineer to design next-generation thermal solutions, focusing on energy efficiency and performance. You will design HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools and validate results against commissioning data.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and OEMs/ODMs to bring new products to market, driving continuous improvements while adhering to ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC system development.
• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools such as the Oak Ridge Labs HPDM.
• Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools to optimize component integration.
• Validate HVAC systems and equipment by comparing simulation results with commissioning data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring new products to market.
