Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and up to three years of journey level experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of HVAC equipment including chillers, air handlers, pumps, piping, and controls.
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification required by Title 40 CFR part 82, subpart F.
  • Experience reading schematics and/or blueprints.
  • Ability to lead and supervise offender labor in safe mechanical trade practices.

We have a mission that matters!Description of WorkThe CAP HVAC Supervisor is responsible for providing advanced mechanical trade expertise in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems, including air handlers, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will possess journeyman level skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, accurately interpret blueprints, and perform a wide range of assigned mechanical duties. This role requires strong knowledge of construction methodologies, solid decision making abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate within a team environment. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. The work schedule is Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM but occasionally could require work hours on Fridays and weekends.
