Job summary

Airo Mechanical, LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to lead on-site HVAC projects from start to finish. You will oversee installation activities, enforce safety standards, coordinate with clients and crews, and ensure timely, high-quality execution on commercial and industrial sites.

This role demands strong leadership, knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to manage resources, schedules, and budgets while maintaining open communication with stakeholders

Qualifications

• HVAC Superintendent with proven experience on commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred; HVAC licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC projects from planning to execution to meet objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and personnel.
• Ensure installations comply with specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting safety meetings and inspections.
• Manage resources, materials, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity.
• Maintain positive client relationships and provide project updates.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain daily/progress/as-built records and documentation.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and controlling costs.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role

As an HVAC Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of HVAC installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. This role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of challenging and rewarding projects.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, to meet project objectives and client expectations.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.
• Ensure that HVAC installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• HVAC-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• A valid driver’s license.
