Jet Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent in Eugene, Oregon. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and deliver projects on time while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of previous experience as an HVAC superintendent or similar role.
• OSHA 30 certification for construction safety.
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction sites.
• Ability to read and understand installation drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors to determine project needs.
• Deliver the project within allotted hours and milestones.
• Plan construction processes.
• Supervise staff and provide feedback.
• Plan for inspections and ensure safety/quality guidelines.
• Order rental equipment and arrange maintenance or replacement.
• Track material/orders on site and submit weekly status reports.
• Keep job site safe, clean, and orderly.
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.
• Lead on-site meetings with GC, subcontractors, and client.

Essential Duties for HVAC Superintendent

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
• Deliver the project within the allotted hours and scheduled completion milestones
• Plan construction processes
• Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
• Plan for inspections
• Implement safety and quality guidelines
• Order the appropriate rental equipment for the installation, and arrange for regular maintenance or replacement if required
• Keep track of the material/orders received on site
• Submit complete Status Reports weekly
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
• Able to conduct on-site meetings with GC, subcontractors, and client

Requirements for Superintendent

• Five years of previous experience as an HVAC superintendent or in a similar role
• OSHA 30 certification for construction safety
• Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
• Ability to read and understand installation drawings
• Certified for forklift/scissor lift/lull operation a plus
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead and inspire multiple teams
• High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
