Job summary

Airtron is seeking an HVAC Start-Up Technician to support installation, start-up, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of diverse commercial HVAC systems on field projects. You will perform start-ups, adjust controls and pumps, diagnose DX equipment, and conduct preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates have HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel between project sites, working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and troubleshooting.
• Experience with air balancing and static pressure diagnostics is a plus.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform system start-ups, observe operation, and interpret gauges to ensure proper functionality.
• Adjust valves, controls, and pumps to regulate fluid levels, pressure, and temperatures.
• Diagnose, service, and repair DX equipment.
• Work on water source heat pumps and boiler systems.
• Maintain gas-fired and electric heating and DX cooling.
• Inspect low-voltage control systems.
• Work with air handling equipment and ductwork.
• Address hydronic cooling/heating and boilers.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and coil cleaning.
