Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of commercial HVAC installation, startup, or service experience preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience reading mechanical plans and equipment specifications preferred.
• Knowledge of startup procedures for commercial HVAC equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and commissioning of HVAC equipment including RTUs, split systems, air handlers, and related equipment.
• Verify installation and operation per manufacturer specs and project requirements.
• Inspect equipment and ductwork to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform operational testing, system checks, and data recording of performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot startup issues and coordinate repairs with installation teams.
• Complete startup reports and project records accurately and on time.
• Communicate status and completion to customers and project teams.
• Coordinate scheduling of startup activities to meet project timelines.
