Job summary

Strada Services is seeking an AC Start Up & Warranty Tech in Jacksonville to support customers with warranty and service options. You will perform final-stage checks, corrections, and scheduling calls, while offering appropriate products and services.

The role emphasizes hands-on HVAC troubleshooting, installation verification, and a strong focus on customer relations. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year residential field experience.
• Two years in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC service issues.
• Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
• EPA Certification: Preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Pass drug screen. Must have reliable HVAC tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot single and Three-phase installations.
• Check heating & cooling equipment is installed correctly and verify cooling and heating operations.
• Diagnose & correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs.
• Assess the needs of our customers and offer all appropriate products and services.
• Create and maintain a database of all leads through retail, retail new construction, and product registration.
• Provide constant feedback related to our competition and our current standings in the marketplace.
• Build strong relationships with our vendor partners to ensure we have the most current information available.
• This position will also handle product registration for retail and retail new construction new installations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot single and Three-phase installations.

• Diagnose & correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns for repairs.
• Assess the needs of our customers and offer all appropriate products and services.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year minimum residential field experience required.
• Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues.
• Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
• EPA Certification: Preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.
• Must be able to Pass drug Screen.Must have reliable HVAC tools

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times.
• Able to access In and out of attics.
• Working On call schedules and long hours
