Job summary

LDI Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Start-Up Technician for its multifamily HVAC team in California. You will participate in start-up processes for newly installed HVAC systems, inspect and maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and assist with installations.

Occasional weekends and full-time hours are expected after onboarding. Candidates must have EPA certification, at least 1 year HVAC experience or completed trade school, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in the HVAC trade or completion of HVAC trade school.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up process on newly installed multi-family HVAC hydronic, heat pump, VRV/VRF equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and repair various HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Assist with installation of new HVAC systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

LDI Mechanical, Inc. is currently looking for self-motivated individuals in the Multifamily HVAC industry to join our team of professionals. We are currently looking for an Entry Level Start up Technician.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform Start up process on newly installed multi-family HVAC Hydronic, Heat Pump, VRV, VRF equipment

Inspect, maintain and repair various HVAC equipment

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions

Assist with installation of new HVAC systems

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have 1-year work experience in the HVAC Trade or Trade School

Must have EPA Certification

Able to work independently and full time, Monday – Friday (occasional weekends), year round

All candidates must pass a pre-placement drug screen, background check and MVR

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, as determined by company standards
