Job summary

Maxair Mechanical, LLC seeks a Start-Up & Commissioning Project Coordinator to lead planning, coordination and field execution of HVAC systems on assigned projects. You will work with managers, technicians, engineers, and customers to drive turnover and owner acceptance.

You will develop start-up plans, coordinate trades, track deficiencies, and maintain complete documentation while protecting Maxair’s interests and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning HVAC/mechanical systems on commercial projects.
• Ability to read plans, sequences of operation, and submittals.
• Strong planning, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication with project teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate equipment start-up, testing, and turnover activities.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and manpower plans for commissioning.
• Coordinate vendors, controls, and field teams to meet milestones.
• Maintain start-up reports, checklists, and deficiency logs.
• Represent Maxair professionally during commissioning activities.
