Job summary
CCI Mechanical, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team, focusing on HVAC ductwork installation and fabrication. This position reports to our Holt, FL office with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing ductwork in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, using sheet metal and flexible ductwork. We offer a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA,
Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC duct installation and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and HVAC plans.
- Able to lift heavy materials and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Install ductwork according to blueprints with proper connections to minimize leaks.
- Inspect and maintain existing ductwork and repair leaks.
- Fabricate duct components by cutting, bending, and joining sheet metal.
- Install insulation around ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
- Diagnose ductwork issues and implement corrective solutions.
- Operate tools such as shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, and drills safely.
- Work with a variety of protective equipment and PPE.
