Job summary

CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair HVAC ductwork across residential and commercial sites in Holt, FL. You will work with sheet metal and flexible ductwork, following blueprints to ensure airtight connections.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction experience.
• HVAC ductwork design and installation knowledge.
• Able to work on a ladder or scissor lift.
• Able to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to read blueprints and HVAC plans.
• Detail-oriented with accurate measurements and sealing of ductwork.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork per blueprints with proper connections and minimal air leaks.
• Inspect and maintain existing ductwork, identify leaks, and ensure optimal airflow.
• Repair damaged or malfunctioning ductwork and replace sections as needed.
• Fabricate duct components, including cutting, bending, and joining sheet metal.
• Install insulation around ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
• Diagnose ductwork issues and implement solutions to restore proper function.
• Use tools such as shears, brakes, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, leak detectors, and refrigerant recovery machines.
