Northern Elements Heating and Cooling, Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Installer to install commercial or residential duct systems and deliver conditioned air throughout buildings.

You will measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal according to blueprints and local codes, often at heights or in tight spaces. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, trade school preferred, and OSHA safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometric schematics, and submittals.
• Mastery of trade tools: hand snips, benders, crimpers, rivets, hammer drills, duct stretchers.
• Strong math skills for layouts, angles, and air-flow offsets.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Field installation: hang, level, and secure ductwork and accessories.
• Fabrication/modification: cut and shape sheet metal to fit.
• Blueprints & compliance: ensure installations meet SMACNA standards and local codes.
