Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Sheet Metal Foreman for commercial and industrial HVAC projects. The role involves supervision of on-site activities, scheduling, material control, safety compliance, and coordination with subcontractors and owners.

You will read blueprints, perform takeoffs, manage weekly reports, inspect sites, and drive team efficiency while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reviews projects with Superintendent and/or Project Manager after equipment and subs are
• Does takeoffs for projects in a timely and thorough manner with the
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and rentals.
• Provide daily job completion
• Assures all site personnel comply with project procedures, safety requirements, company policies and other requirements; documents incidents and notifies Project Manager and Superintendent; recommends and implements corrective
• Responsible for weekly reports (safety/tool box/preconstruction/production) and project specifics
• Conducts inspections on jobs to Interstate Mechanical’s standards, coordinates with contractors/owners as needed
• Coordinates with shop for production scheduling and
• 5+ years’ experience; journeyman or able to obtain
• Able to read blue prints and prepare materials
• Work to increase Team efficiency and uphold high standards of safety
• Knowledge and Skills to deliver solutions to issues
• Must be self-motivated
• Must be able to multi-task and have excellent follow up skills

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment associated with HVAC work according to specifications and blueprints for commercial/industrial projects.
