Responsibilities

• Assist fabricators with production of HVAC ductwork and fittings
• Learn to read shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal
• Use hand and power tools and sheet metal fabrication equipment
• Support fabrication of ductwork and related components
• Load, organize, and move materials within the shop
• Prepare materials for delivery to job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Follow safety policies and supervisor instructions
• Learn fabrication techniques and quality standards
