HVAC Services Manager (HVAC and Chiller Services)
Job Details

C-K Control Temp, Inc., is seeking a highly motivated Service Manager, with the experience and mindset to join our team to be responsible for leading the field technicians and service coordinators. The successful candidate must possess advanced technical experience in the HVAC/R industry to efficiently plan, coordinate, and oversee all field service operations.

This is a full-time, non-union and exempt (salaried) position.

Hours 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM but flexible and available/accessible as needed, including weekends. Company car.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and ensure customer satisfaction and experience throughout all HVAC Services Operations.
  • Manage Service Coordinators and teams daily dispatch schedules.
  • Provide technical support and direction to field service technicians and ensure that proper service techniques are utilized.
  • Provide technical estimating support to sales team.
  • Performs some project and account management tasks including but not limited to managing, supervising, planning, and communicating.
  • Collaboration with Construction and Building Automation Team for scheduling and dispatching as applicable.
  • Be detail oriented with a strong understanding of customer service and employee relations.
  • Successfully operate in a dynamic environment to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Identify workflow weaknesses and implement corrective action in partnership with Operations and Human Resources as applicable.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8+ years of field experience working for a mechanical contractor in the industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Balance communications between internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Capable of multitasking and pivoting between small and large sized projects and respective change orders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, Word, and Outlook, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to be in the field as needed walking job sites and supporting field technicians.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs.
