Job summary

Air Tech of Houston is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This in-person role pays hourly plus commission and requires 1–5 years of experience with HVAC service.

The successful candidate will diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, present recommendations for new equipment, and provide value to customers. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; EPA Type II or TDLR Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years HVAC service experience.
• HVAC degree or equivalent with certification from a technical/trade school.
• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• EPA Type II (Preferred)
• HVAC TDLR Card (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs
