Job summary

Gallo Mechanical Services is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join a high-performing team. You will service, install, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, from new facilities to retrofits, across defined markets.

The role includes testing, commissioning, and on-site support with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HVAC service, EPA Certification, and proficiency with handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years HVAC service experience in relevant systems.
• Proficiency with handheld computers (Smartphone, iPad).
• Ability to work in varied conditions including mechanical rooms and extreme weather.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company as the primary customer contact on assigned projects.
• Provide end-to-end testing, start-up, commissioning, and service on HVAC projects.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on-site requirements from layouts and plans.
• Diagnose and repair units using blueprints or specifications; propose upgrades or retrofits.
• Inform customers about service results and recommend enhancements or replacements.
• Maintain safety, security, and accountability of company assets; ensure comfort and satisfaction.
