Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for the Sewickley area for an immediate full-time opportunity with a growing residential heating and cooling company.

Travel to occupied homes to inspect, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems while delivering outstanding customer service. The role is service-focused, not installation, and requires independent work in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on HVAC equipment.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Test system performance after repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners regarding service needs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and in good working condition.
