Maxair is seeking a service technician to perform preventive maintenance and on-site service for a variety of HVAC equipment at customer locations. You will coordinate with dispatchers, project managers, and customers to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and recommend maintenance solutions.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork, with requirement to travel locally and work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of experience as a commercial HVAC technician.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I & II).
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform preventative maintenance visits on HVAC equipment at Maxair customers.
• Conduct emergency service visits and support repairs or replacements as needed.
• Purchase required materials and submit receipts in the PO system.
• Complete all required electronic paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicate with dispatcher and supervisor about assignments and issues.
• Maintain truck inventory and stay compliant with safety policies.
