Job summary

EMCOR Services Aircond is seeking an HVAC Service Technician II to install, service, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems across commercial buildings in the Augusta, GA region.

The role requires reading schematics, understanding up to 20-ton DX equipment, and applying knowledge of psychometrics, controls, and pipefitting. A high school diploma and EPA certification are required, with 1–5 years of HVAC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
• 1–5 years plus of commercial/industrial HVAC experience including exposure to control, compound and reciprocating systems as well as refrigerants.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems and related environmental-control systems.
• Read schematics and diagnose refrigerant system issues.
• Understand up to 20-ton unitary DX equipment and psychometrics.
• Basic understanding of Controls and Quoting.
• Work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Perform physically demanding tasks (climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds).
