Job summary

Blake Brothers, part of TurnPoint Services, is expanding its Huntsville HVAC team. We seek an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems, delivering top‑tier customer service and workmanship.

The role demands 3+ years in the field, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. You will lift up to 100 lbs, work in attics and crawlspaces, and drive a clean record.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues efficiently and accurately.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, or system replacements as needed and explain options to customers clearly.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and parts usage logs.
• Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure timely and professional service.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and professional appearance.
