Job summary

The City of Irving is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to troubleshoot, repair and install HVAC equipment, and perform preventive maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of field experience are required, along with EPA-CFC Certification and a valid Texas driver’s license.

You may be called to respond to after-hours HVAC emergencies and will undergo a CJIS background check. Criminal history checks apply, with restrictions on prior Class B misdemeanors within the last ten

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of field experience in the HVAC service industry.
• EPA-CFC Certification required.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Must be able to respond to after-hours service calls concerning HVAC emergencies.
• Access to CJIS data may be required and undergo background check.
