Job summary

Mauzy is seeking a skilled residential HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Southern California. You will service, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems, including installation work where needed, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience with strong diagnostic skills and excellent communication to explain issues and options to homeowners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units and other related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to residential service calls and perform thorough diagnostics on HVAC issues
• Explain problems, repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners including cost estimates and proposals
• Adhere to all safety protocols, local codes and maintain a clean work environment
