1-800-Plumber + Air of Bergen County is seeking a motivated HVAC Service Technician to service and repair residential and commercial systems in the Bergen County area. You will diagnose, repair, replace and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

The role offers on-site work with ongoing on-the-job training, a focus on teamwork, and opportunities for advancement in a customer-centric company. A clean driving record and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a current driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass Pre and Post employment drug screenings.
• Experience in light commercial and restaurant freezer/refrigeration equipment, ice makers, refrigerants operations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses HVAC, refrigeration and/or electrical systems through observation, testing and setup.
• Disassembles and reassembles commercial or residential equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to service equipment and/or mechanical systems.
• Explains the issue and work to be performed to the customer, provides a timeline and explains any wait times.
• Perform routine maintenance and filter changes on equipment per customer agreement.
• Maintain an inventory and keep the service vehicle stocked with required parts.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
