About this role:

An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This includes diagnosing issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Technicians communicate with customers to explain problems and solutions, adhere to safety standards, and maintain a clean work environment. They also conduct system inspections, adjustments, and upgrades, keeping detailed records of all services performed. Strong technical skills, customer service, and compliance with industry standards are essential for success.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage.
• Diagnosing and servicing HVAC systems in residential settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing expert HVAC solutions and professional recommendations to customers.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in residential markets.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills for resolving complex HVAC issues.
• A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to address diverse client needs.
• Professional interaction with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges.

Physical requirements include:

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, and using hand tools.
• Ability to drive and work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for handling objects and controls.
• Stooping, kneeling, bending, and crouching regularly.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
