Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our small family-owned business serving Lycoming County and surrounding areas! The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure that systems are operating efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. If you have a strong technical background in HVAC systems and enjoy working on a wide variety of projects for great customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings. We install and service AC, heat pumps, mini-split systems, boilers, and furnaces including gas and oil-fired systems.
  • Diagnose HVAC system issues, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding the performance and condition of their HVAC systems.
  • Install and calibrate thermostats, filters, ducts, and other HVAC components.
  • Test HVAC systems after repairs or installations to ensure they are functioning properly. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations while working on HVAC systems.
  • Provide customers with maintenance tips and recommendations for optimal system performance.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary for repairs and installations. Communicate effectively with the customer and team members to ensure a high level of service satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • On call
  • Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • Performance bonus

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • EPA Universal Certification ()

Ability to Commute:

  • Williamsport, PA 17702 (Required)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or associate degree .
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Familiarity with HVAC control systems, wiring, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment efficiently. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of local HVAC codes and regulations.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • EPA certification required.
