What your day entails as an HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, your day starts by reviewing your schedule and preparing for service calls. You safely travel to various residential and commercial locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems. Tasks include quality installation, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality equipment. Friendly and helpful, you interact with customers, providing professional solutions and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Schedule & Qualifications

Schedule: The work hours for this full-time position are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekends, overtime, and evenings as needed.

The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered:

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a lead position
• EPA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
• Registered TDLR
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate small crawl spaces

Preferred Qualifications:

• NATE certification
• HVAC certification or diploma
• Degree or certificate from a trade school
• Strong work ethic and a career-minded attitude
• Team-player mindset
