Hourly: $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
Reports To: Service Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of residentialheating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Test systems for proper functionality and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and codes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Certification from an accredited HVAC program or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (e.g., rooftops, attics, crawl spaces).
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Qualifications:
Experience with smart thermostats and modern HVAC control systems.
Basic knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems.
