Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Use hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested
• Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts and coordinating work
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, keeping records of service and repairs
• Inspect equipment for wear, notify management of findings
• Complete paperwork for each job, maintaining detailed files
• Serve as a direct customer contact, representing the company professionally
• Order parts and materials needed for repairs in a timely manner
• Record parts, labor, and other costs accurately
• Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, and repair
• Read and interpret product specifications
• Provide technical support to customers
• Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed
• Travel regularly, with some overnight stays
