Job summary

Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing is hiring for a residential HVAC technician in Spokane Valley. Use your diagnostic skills to identify issues in heating and cooling systems and perform repairs on-site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years diagnosing and troubleshooting residential HVAC equipment.
• EPA Certification required; Nate preferred.
• 06A Training Card (Electrical Apprentice) is recommended.
• Valid driver's license with no major violations in 3 years.
• Experience using iPad and Service Titan software.
• Ability to diagnose and sell repairs to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems on-site.
• Explain repair needs and upsell services to customers.
• Document work orders and appointments using Service Titan on an iPad.
• Operate a company-provided truck and maintain tools and uniforms.

What you need

• 2+ years of diagnosing and troubleshooting residential HVAC equipment
• 06A Training Card (Electrical Apprentice)
• Valid drivers license with no major violations within the last 3 years
• Ability to use an iPad and our Service Titan software
• Customer service skills to diagnose and sell the repair to the customer
• Experience with: variable speed units, mini splits, replacing parts such as contactors and capacitors, handling refrigerant, etc.
