Job summary

Gardiner in Solon, OH is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. You’ll diagnose and repair RTUs, boilers, and commercial split systems, perform leak detection and refrigerant recovery, and document service work.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience, understanding of 25 ton+ commercial equipment, clear communication of findings, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Physical Requirements:

You’ll be performing hands-on work and repairs, which will include:

• Getting up on rooftops (via ladder) to access HVAC equipment.
• Loading and unloading tools and equipment from your work van.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs on occasion, and up to 25 lbs overhead.
• Climbing ladders and extending reach overhead as part of your daily tasks.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience
• Understands 25 ton and above commercial equipment
• Ability to communicate findings clearly
• Maintains compliance with EPA section 608 certification requirements
• Licensed driver with an acceptable driving record
