Service Tech - HVAC

CARJON Air Conditioning & Heating is looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and technical experience as a Service Tech - HVAC to be the driving force for our service division. Work Hours: 40 hours plus opportunity for overtime and an innovative on-call rotation with a generous bonus structure.

Pay: $28.00 - 44.73 depending on experience.

Primary Job Function: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding technical training needs, inventory, and retail pricing.

Required Qualifications:

• Journeyman HVAC License (PJ2 and/or RJ2).
• HVAC education preferred and strong mechanical background.
• Clean driving record and insurable driving record.
• Must pass drug and background screens.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience making repair and replace decisions.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
• Knowledge with American Standard, Trane, Rheem, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Viessmann, Burnham, Honeywell, York, Ruud, Goodman, Carrier, Bryant, Amana, and Lennox.
