We’re hiring an HVAC Service Technician to handle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial systems. You’ll be the face of Sol Aire in customers’ homes and businesses: troubleshooting issues, explaining what’s going on in plain language, and getting systems back up and running efficiently. If you know how to read a system, solve problems on the fly, and treat customers right, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including filter changes, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and full system tune-ups
- Troubleshoot system failures efficiently and determine the most effective repair solution
- Explain diagnoses, repair options, and pricing clearly to customers, and provide honest recommendations
- Complete repairs and part replacements to manufacturer and code specifications
- Stock, maintain, and track parts and tools needed to complete service calls
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers in their homes and businesses
- Keep accurate documentation of diagnostics, work performed, and parts used for every call
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades or replacements and communicate them to customers when appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced HVAC service technicians with a strong diagnostic track record
- HVAC school graduates ready to step into a service role
- Dependable, motivated people who show up on time, work hard, and want to build a career, not just clock in for a paycheck
- Solid working knowledge of electrical, refrigerant, and mechanical systems
- EPA 608 certification (or ability to obtain one quickly)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions, and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and solid customer communication
What We Offer
- Real career advancement opportunities
- Hands-on field experience
- Ongoing training and development
- An owner-led local company
If you’re skilled, dependable, and ready to solve problems customers can count on, we want to hear from you.
